During her academic career, Thanuja has worked in different research areas including skeletal muscle metabolism, epigenetics, pulmonary inflammation, and circadian biology. She has a strong background in cell and molecular biology, specialising in the design, execution, and interpretation of functional studies using in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro models.
