Tatiana has worked in different areas spanning oncology, immunology, drug discovery and method development, bringing 19 years of extensive experience at the bench as a molecular and cellular biologist. Prior to joining Sutura, Tatiana worked at Cancer Research UK where she developed biomarkers to improve cancer detection, aid prognosis, predict and monitor patient responses to therapy and to improve survival for cancer patients through liquid biopsy biomarker research.
She has a BSc in Bacteriology, an MSc in microbiology, molecular, cellular and genetics biology. She obtained her PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Valencia. Both her PhD and postdoctoral research projects were concerned with novel treatments for breast cancer with in vitro and in vivo experiments.
